What do i do to get closer to my boyfriend after he has adopted a little girl?

I miss my boyfriend and we havnt talked in 2 weeks and he finally calls me saying he adopted a little girl that he has known for a long time. I respect that and i want to be in his life more then anything in this world but he is busy caring for the little girl. She's 7 years old and so percious, i havnt met her yet and he said i will soon. He says he misses me and he wants to be in my life for the rest of his life. So what do i do? As i said we havnt seen or talked in 2 weeks and he is so busy that he doesnt call or come by like usual? Im there for him as much as i can but im stuck what do i do about this situation?
