TO BE A TEACHER

This could be a little humiliating for some of us stay-at-home mothers.

My Grade One little boy came back from school and said excitedly, "Mom, you know? You have to study to become a teacher!"

"Yeah, it's true. In fact, if you wanna be good at anything at all you'd have to study for it.... That is the whole reason for school."

"Yeah! And if you don't know what you'd wanna do, they would help you find out in school."

"Yeah. You are such a clever boy."

"...Well, (you need to study) unless you are a housewife doing nothing but house-wifey work!"
