I used to tell my son bible stories before he went to bed everynight. This one came a little unexpected and thought i'd share it... :)
My husband had not been attending church for quite a while due to his busy work life( even on a sunday!) and my 5-year old son, daniel, really missed his daddy's presence with us to a sunday church service.
One night, i told daniel a bible story about how Pharoah had kept the Israelites captive and God had wanted Moses to tell Pharoah to let his people go so that they could worship God.
Little to my expectation, my little boy naively asked me...
"Mommy, could you go and ask Pharoah to let daddy go so that he can worship God?"
My little daniel sure knows how to translate a bible story into his real life :)
