I am 31 and my husband 37. We have 5.5 year old son. Earlier we wanted to have a second child when our son turns 5. But now in dilemma whether we should have a second child. We are middle class people from India. Whether we could as much comforts to both our kids is the question. Or should our son has to make sacrifices for our second child? Again there this nagging doubt that after some time whether we will regret not having our second child, as I've already crossed 30 I cannot wait further. If any of could advise us regarding this personal decision it will really help. Thank you in advance..
Yes, you should try for a second child now. Don't wait any longer. Later on down the road (when it is too late) you may regret not trying for a second child. If you don't have any luck achieving pregnancy don't be upset because your son will be just fine as an only child. However, you will be comforted by the fact that you tried. If you do achieve pregnancy you will also be happy with that outcome. I can tell that you are loving parents and having two children will work out just fine.

Hi, It sounds like you are a loving parent. I think if you can afford it then your son will most likely love to have a brother or sister to share his life with. It's a hard desicion but if you are loving parents and can provide a happy child then you have nothing to loose.
