My five year old son is confused about why girls don't have penis to pee with.

So I'm standing in line at the gas station and my five year old son looks up to me and asks, "Mom, if girls don't have tweeters (a nickname my uncle came up with) then how do they go pee?" I was mortified then realized no one else heard him and i politely said ask me again when we get home. He's very mature and realizes that's really not something that we discuss in public. Part of me said it for that reason but in reality i didn't know how to answer the question without giving him too much information for his age. Please help Im at loss cause my mother never had any discussions with me relating at all with sex or gender differences instead I got the info from friends which I hope that he never has to do.

okkk.... at first, ask him from where he come to know that girls dont have penis?? if he answers positively, ask him whether he knows anything more about that. may be he knows more than what you think about him. then try to tell him that girls dont have penis but they have a small "hole" down there.... as god ( or whatever) has forget to fit a penis in girls and there remains a hole for pee. thats what my mom told me when i was 4 years old...... lol
