my boy friend has aspergers syndrome along with his uncle i just recently found out im pregnant and im worried that maybe my child will have it as well is it possable

Pide a Dios que tu criatura no nazca con deformaciones que seria muy triste , si nace con el trastorte del sindroem de asperguer no te peocupes, no es grave, tranquila, como amor y mucha paciencia ayduaras a tu nene a superarlo y aprender a vivir con eso que en realidad no es una enfermedad, mas bien es una diferencia de actitudes y comportamientos con relación a los demás niños. Aspergers Syndrome or Autism is a disorder that is not necessarily passed down from person to person however, it is more likely that your child will have it if there are other members in his family that suffers from any of the disorders under the Autism Spectrum Disorder umbrella. So basically it is thought to be passed on through genes (however, not really proven either way). If you have a child that is diagnosed with it, chances are if you have another child the chance of your second child developing it increases significantly. Also FYI it is more common in boys than girls. 3 out of 4 cases of people diagnosed with ASD are boys...
