my 8yr old child keeps making up games the whole time as if he doesnt want to live in the real world.

my 8yr old child continously makes up games in his head, when he talks to me its gauranteed its about one of his games. he never wants to play with his younger brother and continiously gets aggetated by him. has anyone had the same experiences, is this normal or should i see a child therapist.
