My 4 year old is ignoring me when i talk to her! Any advice much appreciated to help her response to me.

Hi there, Recently, my 4 year old year had been ignoring me when i talk to her. Nothing unusual happened as far as i can remember. She treats me as if i am transparent and kept looking around , doing her own things when i called out to her. Has anyone had any experience with your own kids who are also reacting this way? How do you deal with this?

If it makes you feel any better, my 4 year old does the same thing. I would suggest taking her to the doctor and detail to him what your 4 year old does. I can sympathize with you because being ignored is frustrating. My 4 year old also repeats what she sees on TV. Sometimes when she's playing, she'll just start repeating a line that Baby Bop or Barney said. She doesn't really ask her own questions if she is curious. She'll ask "where is..." or "what's this" but she won't ask why, how, who, or when. I hope you find what you are looking for.
