My 11 year old son got caught with a broken pair of scizzors in school yesterday
We sat him down and explained how serious what he had done. We asked him to tell us every detail honestly. We thought he told us everything until his dad met with the principal this morning. I'm so scared for him! We have no clue how to deal with this. He is a great kid, very caring, we don't understand why he would behave this way. Can someone please help us! Any ideas are completely welcome! Thanks

Because if the child just had a broken pair of scizzors then so what, he may have found them and just kept them for something to do. But if he appeared to use them with intent to harm something or someone, then it is dangerous. And future events need to be met with firmness including a 'bottom warming' with your hands.
Whatever happened-look back on past behaviour and monitor him carefully-but don't let the event get all of al proportion. Make sure that the child know it's loved by hugging and kissing him and by staying in touch, children are a parents best investment. Cheers!
