When I was about 7 or 8, I went on a fishing trip with my cousins, Cody, Jessee and Whatt. We were in Montana near my grandpa’s house on the Kootenai river. This was when my grandpa just finished building his house, a log cabin. Then this was where my story begins. On the third day of fishing, on a little sand dune, we were fishing on a hot sand, so we cast our lines out into the riverthen we stuck our poles into the sand so we could talk about what we could do. At the time I was looking over Whatt’s sholder at his pole. The top started to bounce which means something is toying with it. Then, Whatt’s pole shot into the water. Whatt turned around and jumped right around right into the 45 degree water to get it back. He got it and realed in the fish. He was so excited, then his excitement turned into anger when his fish flipped back into the water. We then went to get him a towel when we saw wild turkey’s. We had a great idea to kill and eat them. So we started to throw rocks at them. Trust me, never do that! They will attack. So we ran and jumped into the water. We got out and the turkey’s attacked again. When they saw us they attacked again. When they were gone, we got out and laughed a lot! Then we went in and told everyone what had happened and we all laughed a long time.
