I am Chinese who is studying in Adelaide.I have to leave my husband and my 12-year-old son behind as I cant afford to have him with before I was able to settle down in Australia.
My son is a smart and naughty boy. He likes reading and watching TV. My husband has limited his time spent on computer due to study. He started year 7 in Sept. On the phone call to his teacher tonight, I was told that my son was talktive during class which annoyed and disturred his deskmate. Then his deskmate asked the teacher to change the sit for her. My son refused to change at the begining. When the teacher asked him why, he refused to tell the truth and cried. The teacher has concerned whether he was bullyed by other students or any other problems, he just answered that everything was fine. And he didnt want anyone knew whats going on in his mind. He has no close friend. He spends most of lesure time reading books and watching TV. I dont think that he would share any of his thoughts with any body. His teacher and I guessed one of the reasons is that I am so far away from him which made him lonely and lack of the love from mum. Every time, when I tried to talk to him about his life in school on the phone, he just told me that everything was good and didnt really want to talk to me too much.
I would appreciate if any one of you could tell me whats wrong with him and what should I do to know him more and how.
