Is it alright for children aged 1-3 to eat food with seasoning?

by Rachel

Hi everyone,
I have read somewhere that children aged 1-3 should not be eating food with seasoning as it will affect their taste bud when they grow up. I am concerned that my 2 year old girl would develope to have a craving for salty and sweet stuffs when she grows up and thus had been giving her blant food. Sometimes do feel a bit "cruel". Especially that when she seems to be the only one who brings her lunch to daycare and others seems to be enjoying their 'junk' food (hopefully i am not offending anybody here - sorry if i did).

Am i the only weird mother around?
I like to know what others are giving their toddlers during meal time. I am giving my girl plain porridge and stuffs without seasoning since she started taking solids. I am unsure at what age should i allow her to take outside food (which are high in seasoning content).

Not sure what other parents thinks....

Love,
Rachel
