When my 34 month old son asks me a question I have to answer it the way he wants me to, if I dont he will keep asking me the same question until I do and he gets very frustrated such as 'is mommy at work today' I will reply 'yes' but he will ask the question again until I have to say 'yes mommy is at work today' he will be fine then. His speech is delayed so maybe its reassurance to him to know that I'm understanding him properly? Sometimes I can't even make out what he is saying and this frustrates him so much.I took him to a speech therapist a couple of months ago but they said they are not concerend at the moment but to bring him back at the start of nect year.
