Some family members were asking my 5 year old grandson how he was doing in VPK. He said, "You know, I'm worried that I won't learn to read". Everyone assured him that once he was in Kindergarten that he would start to learn. But he says, "I'm worried that when I get older and get married and have kids, that my kids will say, "Dad, what does that say? and I'll have to say. I don't know." (We are always astonished as to what this little boy says-every since he could talk.)
