how to tackle jealousy problem in two sons?

my elder son is 7 yr old and younger one is 4 yr old ...my elder son feels jealous....becomes angry....behaves badly....and even hits the younger one ...i try n explain things butwhen i take ne ones side the other one feels bad,,,,i reallly want both of them to have GOOOOD UNDERSTANDING N LOVING RELATIONSHIP.... i want them both to be best buddies n strongest support of each other.....please give me some tips that r helpful....
