How to handle 10 years boy without screaming

by U.Vani
(Hyderbad)

My son is 10years old boy ,he is good in studies but he don't want to sit at one place. He want to spend more time for play . When I say for study he will not sit for it. When we go some one house/shopping malls he will not sit at one place he will run here and there.
In such a condition what to do

Thank you

U.Vani

He is a boy!
by: Belamby

He sounds just like a 10 year old boy who is quite clever and energetic!. This kid has a lot of excess energy.
He needs to run! A pity you did not state if you were his mum, Dad, Aunty, Uncle or perhaps grandmother. What a joy to have a son who learns well academically and runs and plays his little heart out!
Now is the time to enrol him in a suitable little boy sport and if you are his Dad (or if he has a Dad) wrestle and run and race with the kid. Soon enough when the excess energy is gone (where it should have gone), he will gladly sit down for a while.
Consider the other potential scenario:
'My boy never moves from his seat, he never plays, he goes to bed early and does not get up until late. What are we to do? He is hopeless also at study, how can we get our beloved son to run around like real boys do.......yours exasperated.' I’m sure you like your running little ball of energy instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be patient
by: Oliver

I believe it is not really a great problem. You say he is good in studies, and that is what matters. Your son seems to be very lively, but this ic quiete normal. Don't worry ad be patient.
