My daughter is in 5th grade. My concern is not really that she doesn't have friends, she seems to have many, and they are from many different groups (which I think is o.k.?) what concerns me is she doesn't have a 'best' friend, never really has. Her teacher said she is well liked in class but it concerns me a little that she has developed any close bonds. I know that there are many girls in the school that have very close realationships. She bounces from friend to friend and doesn't seem to truely bond to any certain one. She does see her friends outside of school but it seems that she is inviting kids more then they invite her. Should I be concerned about this?
