My little guy is only eight so I am really having a hard time with this one. A few weeks ago, I found newspaper ads in his room of women in their bras, etc. I wasn't sure what was going on so I just picked them up and threw them in the trash. A few days later different ones were back in his little cubby. Tonight, I found that he had taken pictures of these ads and put them in his DSi. I didn't want to make him feel ashamed but I did tell him very lovingly that he needed to be respectful of girls and that probably wasn't being respectful of them. Not sure if I handled this right or not. My husband talked to him as well and he was just beside himself in tears with embarrasement. I knew we'd have to tackle topics such as this but not this early!!! I should have known when he was two and pointed to a pretty girl in the parking lot and said "I love girls". I just need to know if anyone else has gone through this and how you addressed it. I certainly don't want to do the wrong thing and look back and wonder if I should have treated this differently. Thanks for the help!
