father in law slapped my 5 year old across the face
My parents in law mind my 5 year old girl from the time she finishes school till the time I get home from work. Tonight she told me that her grandad slapped her across the face because she wouldn't hurry up and she was trying to get a doll a few months ago. I asked her why she had not told me when it happened and she said she was afraid I would get mad at her grandad. She kept asking if I was mad a him so I told her nobody should slap her and I was going to speak to Grandad, she got upset and said she didn't want me to tell him that she told me. I have since spoke to my husband and he pretty much said he does not believe her. I don't know what to do here. Her relationship has always been great with her grandad and even tonight she said she loved him.
