My 14 year old daughter is a gifted child. She is usually detached, upset, doesn't want to talk, and never apologizes. She rarely talks to me, claiming that theres nothing to talk about. She spends a lot of time absorbed on her laptop or on TV (most likely watching a movie or a drama) or reading, sometimes even ignoring me when I talk to her. I do not know what she's doing most of the time because she is at home along when I work and when I ask, she says something generic like "homework" or "reading", but it's pretty obvious that she's not telling the truth. Why is this and how can I stop it?
