I just got custody of both of my nephews, ages 4 and 7. Neither one of them ever had much discipline, they was always allowed to pretty much do what they wanted. My parents raised them and thier mother has never really be in the picture. The 4 yr old Daddy has not around, but the 7 yr old is as much as he can. The problem is with the 4 yr old. No matter what we have tried, nothing works. He sneaks candy and hides it, he lies, he hits, he screams, he hides toys. Don't get me wrong, he can be very loving and he tries sometime, when it is just him. BUT when his brother and my two is here, no matter how much attention we give him (rather its just him or all of them) he acts up. He have tried the corner, taking things away, we have tried the award thing... everything we know. I am about at my wits end. We love them as our own, we treat them just like we treat our own kids. Each have chores, the same rules applys with all. So what else can I do? I keep think ...patience-all I need is patience! I am about all out of patience!!!
