my 4 year old daugter ,s teacher told me that she can,t speak in school but she does speak at home and even explains pictures to us.l,m confused and do not know what to do next.

Hi there. Good for you for not just accepting the nursery school's word as "gold." If I were in your shoes, and I have been before for different things) I would ask to sit in on the class. That is your right as a parent. Observe your daughter in the classroom. Ask the teacher if you might be able to come in and volunteer at grading papers or something else quiet that will make your daughter think that you are there to help the teacher and not to watch her. Make sure that your daughter is fully engaged in class while watching her. This might either show you that she acts differently when at school, or that for some reason the nursery is just not working well with her.
