Challenging Authority

Life experience sharing

Do you have an encounter whereby your child questions why and argues when asked to do something? When children become so challenging that they seem to spend their entire day provoking parents, we adults have to learn to handle them without damaging their independent thinking and abilities.

Could the acts of challenging your authority a mere passing phase that your child will grow out of it? Or should we address it immediately? Come share with us your experience with a challenging child!

Challenging Authority at Home and in School

When a child is told to do something that he doesn't want to do, he will often ask, "Why?"

In most cases the question is not prompted by a spirit of cooperative inquiry-, it is prompted by a spirit of rebellion.

Have you had such an encounter with your child? And how do you deal with him/her?
