bonding with 10 year old stepson who has learning difficulties and behavioral problems
my 10 year old stepson stays with us for the holidays. he has dyspraxia and global development delay. his mother refuses to talk to me and only talks to my partner breifly when he goes to pick him up. i have no relationship with him to speak of and just feel like his maid!my own children suffer as a result of his temper tantrums and bulling, it is a nightmare situation. i so want to bond with him and for him to be a part of our family, but he treats me like im the enemy. anyone out there with a similar experience or words of advice?
