My 7 year old son has been under the impression that people HAVE to be married to have a baby. So this is the story. My 7 year old was told the other night that his aunt was pregnant. He sits and thinks about it for a little while and finally comes up to me and says "Mom, Titi (aunty) is pregnant".. I respond "Yes pal she is" "But Shes not married" "No Buddy she is not" "Well how did that happen" "I do not know pal" So he sat back down and thought long and hard and came back to me with this.... "Mom, I got it" "What do you have?" "When you sleep at night god comes and he puts a baby in your belly" "You know.. I think you are right" and the night continues on as normal... The next morning he wakes up to say "Mom I think god came to see me last night" "You do... why?" "Cause I think Im pregnant" After much explaining I am hoping that he did not go on to school to tell his classmates that he is pregnant.
