Adalia in Mt Alvernia Hospital's children playroom
My 2 year old girl - Adalia, was hospitalised for 3 days last week due to bronchitis and 3 consecutive days of high fever. She is ok now , thank GOD!
During my stay with her in Mt Alvernia Hospital, I had the opportunity to spend 3 full precious days with her. She needed to be on the nebuliser every two hourly and she simply hates it.
Its amazed me that in her moment of struggles, while the nurses were putting her on the nebuliser, that she could be so effectively bilingual in her screaming - "i don't want, finished already, etc,etc..." Though i found it amazing, it still hurts me to see her in pain.
Today, my younger kid izanne is hospitalised - a day after adalia came home yesterday. And she is in the same ward and bed as was her older sister. I wonder what is happening to my kids that one fell ill after another. Izanne was down with bronchitis too and fever. Since she is only 2 months old, our pediatrician advised us to admit her immediately.
I really hope all this will be over soon and both adalia and izanne will be well again.
Above is a picture i took of Adalia while we were playing in Mt Alvernia Hospital children ward's playroom.
Thought it was well taken and like to post it here!
