No worries

I was told it's better that teeth come as they will last longer and are less likely to become buck teeth, many babys who get teeth early on will need braces, they will also fall out earlier therefor getting adult teeth earlier, not a great thing as once they gone it's denture time!!

I think thats fine. You do not have to worry too much. My child did not have any teeth until she was 18 months. So yours is more comforting than mine :) I have checked with a dentist and the answer was that children grow at different rate. So its no different for their first tooth. As a parent, i too am worried a lot of times but its always good to ask other parents and see if my child is growing well. Rest assure...this is fine i believe.
