11yr. old grandson, declassified from idea, adhd/odd constantly suspended from school
my grandson has been diagnosed with adhd/odd since the age of three...he met idea eligibility in k-5th grade...we were told that he was ineligible for idea at the beginning of 6th grade but his disabilities remain the same...we were never told he was now ineligible for a 504 plan...the schools have been most uncooperative and have refused to accomodate his issues...as of the writing he has been suspended from the bus and from school at least 4times for the same "infractions"...importantly, the school has never given us notification of suspensions in writing...how do i "trigger" a manifest hearing and a "stay put" order until these issues are involved (we have always been promised a behavioral intervention plan...but have never received one) we are disperate!!!
